Sat in the balcony with the camera mounted on a monopod. 1/60 @ 6.3mm, ISO 1100. Equivalent to 35mm shooting at 1458mm.

The question was, "can I get "good" images in these conditions?" Does "good" technique overcome mediocre equipment?

 Sunflower at the end of the season. Fading away, like we all do. Filled with seeds that will bring a new generation in the Spring.

It's been a year since I've updated my blog. I'll be more consistent as I move my posts from Facebook to here. Too much noise on FB.

 I've followed this sunflow through the summer and fall.  Was enjoyable and fascinating.  Sometimes pretty, sometimes - just a plant life.

Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA is a fine place to shop & eat. Took time out to enjoy the Christmas lights and try some abstract images by combining a slow shutter speed of 1/2 second with camera movement.
