Saturday, August 27, was the church picnic & baptism for Calvary Chapel of Central Bucks. There were dozens & dozens of volunteers who made the day a great success.
This young man was first in line for a hamburger.
The food was great and plentiful.
There were several play areas at the picnic, including tennis and swimming.
Several folks visited the horses.
A little before four it began to rain. These two guys were totally soaked. After helping show that few people were out in the rain, they were disappointed I wasn't going to publish their picture in the paper.
Pastor, John Hessler, addresses the assembled congregation before the baptismal service.
The rain was wind driven, making it hard to stay dry even for spectators with umbrellas.
The high point of the day, was the baptism of about 30 folks - publicly professing their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior.
Saturday, several of us attended the church picnic. Dan used one of the cameras to shoot some candids, including this one of me.

Garrick spent yesterday at the shore with Grandma & Grandpa. He ran in and out of the water for hours, squealing with joy. He is trying to stay ahead of a big wave, getting to dry land before the wave over takes him.

Braden, Stacey's youngest, was dedicated to the Lord at Calvary Chapel of Bucks County in the morning service on Sunday. It gave us an opportunity for the whole family to get togther.
This was one of mom's first outings after her back surgery. She is doing much better.
Chris - this day was a first (a good shot of each of our kids).
