Spring is in the air in Southeastern Pennsylvania.  The electronic shutter on a Nikon 1 V1 facilitated this hand held shot with a 300mm lens (35mm equivalent 810mm).  The technique is to hold the camera very steady and shoot several shots in a rapid sequence.  Without a mirror and mechanical shutter movement, camera motion is negligible.

Later winter snowfall in the floodplain of the Perkiomen Creek in SE Pennsylvania.  The sky is overcast, very appropriate for this winter.
