We walked past Ripley Museums many, many times. Last week we decided to take the tour. It was an interesting hour, reminiscent of historic carnival side shows. Each museum is said to have a different selection of exhibits.

The Iron Maiden is one of many wicked devices for torture displayed in the museum. Uday Hussein, infamous son of the former dictator of Iraq who served as the country's sports Czar, had an Iron Maiden that he purposedly used to punish athletes who failed to live up to his expectations.
